Kim Kardashian’s security guard filed for bankruptcy in July with his security company over a $1.2 million debt the New York Daily News reports.
I always thought this whole ordeal (her being robbed) sounded kinda fishy. But I didn’t want to victim blame or shame, so I kept quiet until the tea started spilling.
Maybe it’s not Kim but somebody or some people owe(s) this man $1.2 million. And he had to file bankruptcy to cover it.
I’m not a scammer but if you filing for bankruptcy, I feel like you need to be homeless, in the soup kitchen line, getting groceries from the local food bank, no money at all. Not galavanting across the world with the Kardashian family.
And in the grand scheme of things, $1 million isn’t that much. Not when you can afford or need a security guard. Maybe that’s a lot to regular folk like you and me but for the Kardashians? I’m sure North or Saint have clothes worth more than that…
But anyways… do we think Pascal set up Kimmy? He wasn’t there at the time of the robbery. He was with Kendall and Kourtney…
Pascal Duvier submitted the insolvency paperwork for his ProtectSecurity firm on July 22 after the company dipped more than $1.2 million in debt, the DailyMail.com is reporting.
“There is so much debt,” the insolvency lawyer overseeing the case told the Mail. “There are many claimants. I cannot say the exact number. Lots.”
The 43-year-old Duvier — who made the apparent filing in his native Heidelberg, Germany — has run ProtectSecurity for 19 years, according to the report.
The company has represented a who’s who of clients that includes Justin Timberlake, Katy Perry, Christina Aguilera and Lana Del Rey.
Duvier — who stands at 6-foot-4 — was not present last Sunday when Kardashian was robbed at gunpoint by five intruders inside her Paris private residence bedroom, as he was instead providing protection for the reality star’s sisters Kendall Jenner and Kourtney Kardashian at a nearby party.
Kardashian, who was stripped of more than $10 million worth of jewelry in the harrowing encounter, doesn’t blame Duvier for not being by her side at the time and felt safe staying by herself, Us Weekly reported.
Duiver, meanwhile, called the robbery “one the most sickening things I have seen or heard” in a post on a personal blog, according to the Mail.
“We have tips and leads and we will find you,” he said. “That I promise you … you messed with the wrong one.”
The hulking bodyguard has reportedly worked with Kardashian since 2014.
Duvier came to Kardashian’s defense last week when infamous A-lister assailant Vitalii Sediuk rushed up behind the reality star before a Paris Fashion Week event and tried to kiss her on the backside.
The bodyguard quickly slammed Sediuk to the ground as Kardashian made her way inside.
